HOME AND ONLINE BUSSINESS THE WAY OF THE FUTURE

With more and more companies downsizing and mechanizing, formal work opportunities are becoming scarcer and scarcer.

Thirty tears ago it was possible to change jobs at the drop of a hat, so to speak. If the current employment was not to your liking, you bought a newspaper or two, checked out the employment page and normally within a week or two you had a new job more to your liking.

Now things have changed and jobs are not freely available. This is not just in certain countries but seems to be the norm worldwide and people are forced to turn to making there own income and the home business seems to be the preferred way to go as it is normally cheaper to set up than a formal shop on the corner and the home business can grow in time to becoming that shop on the corner.

In certain countries the informal economy is providing more than half the countries workforce with employment and this keeps on growing as the world economy slows down.

TAKE A BREAK FROM BUSINESS AND MAKING MONEY

                      

 

I know you are all saying that a pizza is not going to make you or anybody money, well think again. A friend of mine, when he lost his job decided to buy with his leave money they paid him, a pizza oven on wheels. These little ovens are readily available and is wood fired, which makes it a cheap way of making very nice pizza’s. He experimented with different pizza basis that can be bought in bulk and limited his toppings to two or three simple ones,

He marketed his pizza’s at school functions, church gatherings, picnic spots and during the week in business areas where there were a lot of people looking for something different at lunch. Watching your pizza being made fresh with a cool juice in your hand is an experience. Make no mistake, run correctly, this is a money making business that has got the possibility to grow into something big.

Enough about making money from home, try this topping on your next homemade pizza.  Use your favourite base.

Pizza Paysanne

50g (2oz) butter

1 large onion, finely chopped

4 rashers streaky bacon, derinded and chopped

2 potatoes, diced

2 eggs

142ml (5 fl. oz.) double cream

1 tablespoon each chopped parsley, thyme and chives

Salt and pepper

1 quantity pizza dough

1 small red pepper, cored, seeded and chopped

125ml (4 oz) matured Cheddar cheese, grated

Melt the butter in a pan, add the onion and bacon and cook for about 5 minutes, until lightly browned. Drain on kitchen paper.

Add the potato to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned. Drain on kitchen paper.

Beat the eggs and cream together. Stir in the herbs and season liberally with salt and pepper.

When the dough has doubled in size, place it on a floured board and knead thoroughly. Roll out and use to line a 23 cm (9 inch) flan ring placed on a baking sheet.

Spoon the onion, bacon and potato into the case and sprinkle with the red pepper. Pour over the egg mixture and sprinkle with cheese.

Bake in a preheated moderately hot oven, 200degrees Celsius, (400 deg F.), Gas Mark 6, for 20 to 25 minutes until well risen and golden. Serve hot or cold.

MAKING MONEY KNITTING FROM HOME

             

 

Knitting has always been considered a pastime  that grandmothers did for her extended family, and was passed on from mother to daughter if the offspring was interested enough to take the time to learn. But with females getting more and more involved in the formal business world, there is not enough time to learn this old art form and thus very few young and not so young mothers can knit, and is forced to protect her offspring from the cold by buying from the local store. This has opened  an opportunity for people like you and me, to start a money making business.

In a previous post we spoke about learning to type posts, reviews, articles and essays that open another exciting home business idea that has been a nice income for a lot of people being forced by circumstances to seek a home business.

If you sit down and think about it most people, especially if you are middle aged and older, knows how to do something pretty good and there are a lot of people that will pay good money to be taught how to do it as well as you do. So teach them for a fair fee.

Once you apply your mind to it you will find that you know quite a lot of things other people would pay money for to learn. How to care for your first baby, how to service and do simple repairs on your car, how to make or alter and mend clothes, how to arrange flowers and if you think you do not know quite enough to teach others, spend a couple of weeks going to the library and get yourself up to speed.

                        CHOC-CHIP MONSTER COOKIES

190g Butter, softened

190 ml White Sugar

1 Egg-white

5 ml Vanilla Essence

190 ml Cake flour

Pinch Salt

100g box Chocolate Chips

125 ml Chopped Almonds

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg-white and vanilla essence. Sift

flour and salt and stir into creamed mixture. Add chocolate chips and almonds and

mix well. Form dough into large balls and place on greased and lined baking sheets.

Flatten each ball with a fork and bake at  180 deg. Celsius about 10 minutes.

Leave to cool. Remove from baking sheets and place on cooling rack.

Makes about 10 by 120mm cookies.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS EASY OR FREE MONEY

          

This normally is not a problem when one is running a home business as one soon

finds out that any kind of business, run from home or from a shop in a mall, takes

hard work and, unless you are doing something illegal, takes a long time to realize

serious money. When you work from home you very seldom fall for easy money.

The problem lies mostly at the door of the online business opportunities presented on

the internet and make no mistake, there are more scammers on the net than

people actually selling genuine information. One thing to remember about the net is

that any business online, be it genuine or scam , can only work if the numbers are

there to support it. So all a scammer wants to do is get as many people as possible to

read his ad or blog. There are always people who cannot resist  words like easy

money or fast money. They are the two most common words in the scammers

vocabulary.

When you see the words how to make easy money or making money fast, get out of

that website and look for another. Everything in live takes an effort and good profits

take time to develop. The benefit of working hard and waiting for good profits are that

this kind of business is normally on solid ground and when it starts growing, it grows

well and the effort needed is not  as much as it was in the beginning.

Don’t look for easy or fast money, rather work hard and have patience, the money

To start a home or online business is not difficult one as you obviously do have access

to the internet. The question is, do you have the extra space at your house to

necessary skills to make the business idea work. Some minor skills can be self taught

The question then is not if you should start a home business or online money

making business but whether which of these money making ideas you feel capable of

doing and the most likely to succeed in. If the one you are investigating won't fit,

All this typing and thinking is making me peckish. I think it is time for some

baking. How about a nice Chocolate cake recipe:

                        Chocolate Pan Cake

350g Cake flour

20 ml Baking powder

420g Castor sugar

4 Extra large eggs

230g soft Butter

50g Cocoa powder

125 ml boiling Water  

250 ml Milk

2 ml salt

Mix the cocoa powder and the boiling water and let it cool down.

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.

Mix the butter and sugar together till creamy.

Add the flour mixture, milk and the cocoa mixture to the butter and mix.

Pour mixture in a well greased oven pan.

Bake at 180 degrees Celsius ( 350 deg Fahrenheit, Gas mark  4) for 40 min.

While the cake is baking, prepare the easy icing

Icing

500g icing sugar

50 ml cocoa powder

50 ml butter

125 ml boiling water

Mix everything together until everything is dissolved.

When cake comes out of the oven pour icing carefully over cake.

Tip:

Cut the cake in blocks before pouring icing over.

BUSINESS AND MONEY MAKING FUNDAMENTALS.

               

When starting any business, no matter if it is a furniture retail store in the centre of town, or a little home grown sweet shop, you need to know a little bit about running a business. Now for the purpose of this blog, we are not going to go into too much detail, as the sort of money making exercise we are looking at is not anywhere near to the furniture shop module. I do suggest that if you feel that you need to know more, go to your local library or book store and you will find many a good book that will give you the knowledge to run a small business.

Although we are in the computer age, you will find that a good solid exercise book and a decent pen, is the most  handy tool you can purchase. When starting the business, write down all your ideas and things you want to try, then when you have all of these down on paper, go through them and eliminate those that really does not make sense and then make a list of things you need to find out more about and where you think you can get the answers.

Then you start to prioritize everything you need to do to get your business started. If possible, add completion dates next to thing you have to do, this will keep you motivated and you will see if you are making any progress. When working on the net always make note of URL addresses, usernames and passwords. You don’t  need the frustration of having forgotten any of these when you are ready to work. There is nothing as sad and pathetic as the words “I have forgotten”.

Even in day to day dealings with builders,  plumbers and insurance companies, it is advisable to do the paperwork. Nothing wins a dispute as much as a signed contract. The same goes for the internet. By just keeping track of what you are doing you can solve a lot of problems down the line. Any business ideas you have, write them down, any money transaction that occur, keep track of it in your book. Somewhere in your endeavours all this information is going to come in handy.

Read things properly before you commit effort, time and money toward it. It does not pay to sit on the net typing posts if after two days you find that the company you are using is region specific and your region is not included. Reading and writing is one of the best tools you can have in any environment.

As the chimpanzee on the toilet said, “THE JOBS NOT DONE UNTIL THE PAPERWORK IS DONE”.

For a small home or  online business there is not much more needed than this , most ideas for making money will work , if it is carefully thought out and approached with common sense and the will to make it work , all it then needs is effort and perseverance.

Introduction

Everybody that is not born rich think of starting a home business sometime in their

 lives.  This has now with the onset of the internet expanded and it is

now possible to start any type of business from home. , using your computer as

a very powerful tool to do some serious business online , making a lot of money

with a minimum capital outlay.

It is also now possible for individuals like housewives and just ordinary folks who are

looking for additional income, to earn some good money on a part-time basis and if

serious time and effort is put into the online money making idea, the income

from it can actually be quite large.

At the same time, the old home business must not be discarded, as there still is a lot

of scope for these old time money making ideas. As people have drifted more and

more into the use of the internet and fast food joints so the home based little business

has died away , but lately as the newness of the internet has blown over and the

people gotten used to ordering fast food, clothes, toys and even cars and furniture over  

the internet.

The Home based confectionaries and sweet shops have become the in thing. Kids will

now rather buy some old time sweets from a friendly street vendor or the lady five

houses down the street, than going to the mall for a commercially wrapped bar.

We will for the next couple of weeks give some simple money making ideas on this

blog for free and every now and then   slip in some recipes for pizza and some

delicious cakes. Why, you ask. Everybody should have a hobby, and mine happens to

be delicious recipes for something nice like banana cake or a lovely Swiss roll. I find
